TIME Magazine Food Writer/Burger Authority At BEST Of Fall Home Show

Online, August 23, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Josh Ozersky made such a strong impression on his last visit to Columbus that the producers of the BEST of Fall Home Show, presented by Rosati Windows, have announced they're bringing the burger guru and food writer back for more. A popular TIME magazine food writer and author of The Hamburger: A History, Ozersky will appear on the Home Idea Center Stage on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Ozersky will demonstrate how to prepare his well-researched hamburger recipe. Following his demonstrations, Ozersky will host a special sampling for show guests of his favorite smoked meats from acclaimed local charcuterie, Thurn's Specialty Meats.

A James Beard Award-winning food writer, Ozersky served as the restaurant critic for Newsday, national editor for Citysearch and editor at Grubstreet, and ran the popular food blog The Feedbag. Ozersky has written for numerous other publications, including The New York Times, The New York Post, Saveur, The Times of London, and Details. His other books include Meat Me in Manhattan: A Carnivore's Guide to New York and Archie Bunker's America: TV in an Era of Changing Times. Otherwise known as Mr. Cutlets, Josh Ozersky is known among the foodie community for his love of all things meat, especially the hamburger. He wrote the "biography" of the hamburger, The Hamburger: A History, in 2009. The BEST of Fall Home Show, in partnership with Ohio Mulch and Granite Transformations, opens Friday, Sept. 9, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Ohio Expo Center. Show hours are Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guests can stop by any Kroger location after Aug. 15 to receive complimentary tickets for themselves, their family and their friends.
