Time Yarns To Publish Gay Russian Author Lara Biyuts
Lara Biyuts will have a short story in the 2013 Time Yarns anthology, Cat's Cradle Time Yarns.
Online, April 28, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Lara Biyuts, a translator, author of gay interest novels, and the mind behind the Revue Blanche blog, will be published in the 2013 Time Yarns anthology, Cat's Cradle Time Yarns. Her short story Tomcat's True Story is the second story accepted for publication in next year's anthology. The first was Night Prowlers, by returning Time Yarns favorite Tony Thorne MBE, whose novel Points of View is coming out from Eternal Press this fall.
From Eastern Europe, Lara Biyuts writes in English. She has self-published several novels on Smashwords. Her interests include reading, creative writing, history, the English language, cats, healthy food, and cooking.
"Live & Learn. I learn what I need and share what I know for certain," says Lara. Lara's love for literature, like her gender, sexuality and politics, is adamantine. She loves books by Chekhov, Nabokov, Oscar Wilde, Ronald Firbank, Evelyn Waugh, W. Somerset Maugham, Plato, Petronius, Martial, John Dickson Carr, and Rex Stout. She feels thankful to two books, "Memoirs of Hadrian" by Marguerite Yourcenar, and "Beloved and God: The Story of Hadrian and Antinous" by Royston Lambert. Her blog Revue Blanche is dedicated to the joy of creativity, beauty of originality, power of curiosity, wonder of diversity and the delight of imagination, limited by the small circle of her interests.
Time Yarns has an open call for submissions of short fiction, art, and linkable transmedia for Cat's Cradle Time Yarns. Linkable transmedia includes music and video which will be included in the anthology in the form of links to host sites, since current ebook platforms cannot yet handle file sizes large enough to accomodate embedded video. The Time Yarns anthologies are edited by Erin Lale, who is also the Acquisitions Editor at Eternal Press and Damnation Books and is the originator of the Time Yarns Universe.
