Timothy Roe Proud Stockists of Aradia Nista Jewellery
Timothy Roe, bespoke jewellers of Chichester, are proud to announce that they are now one of a handful of stockists of Aradia Nista's fine nature-inspired jewellery.
Online, July 24, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Timothy Roe were immediately struck by Aradia's distinctive brand of 'wearable art', featuring enchanting humming bird and mice designs, and were lucky enough to meet her at the Spring Fair 2012, an event which brings together jewellery designers from around the world.
Timothy Roe are always on the lookout for inspiration, fresh ideas and exciting brands to work with, as well as new tools and technology which help them design and develop innovative bespoke jewellery. The love and passion in Aradia Nista's work was obvious. Timothy Roe think that she is "head and shoulders" above other jewellery designers. The range includes necklaces, bracelets and rings. All the pieces include a distinct Art Nouveau flavour, with hand-forged twisted silver stems, vines, scrolls, delicate flowers and lovingly crafted wildlife.
Aradia's art can be associated with her Italian background. She's from a family of goldsmiths and gunsmiths, so attention to fine detail and sound technical knowledge run in the family. Aradia studied graphic design, sculpture, drawing and painting at the School of Art in Pisa, Italy. She later moved on to Le Arti Orafe Jewellery School in Florence, where she honed her goldsmith skills.
After completing her training in Italy, Aradia moved to the UK to complete a degree at the University for the Creative Arts in Kent. Her jewellery's subjects have something in common - both hummingbirds and dormice are endangered species, suggesting that Aradia is a bit of a conservationist at heart.
Now with an established studio in England, Aradia creates beautiful jewellery which is being recognised and sought the world over.
Hand-carved hummingbirds and harvest mice emerge from beautiful flowers in her romantic jewellery, which is made from sterling silver, 18ct gold and Japanese urushi lacquer. All her jewellery is individually handmade and expresses a passion for the natural world as well as Japanese aesthetics. The elegant jewellery highlights the fragility of the natural world.
