Titan's Journey In Print
Feel Teal Club member/comedian, Shelly Ryan, hits the road again, this time in print! From her childhood ingenuity to the madcap road trips, her upcoming book encapsulates this incredible journey of one woman's passion to make the world laugh!
Online, August 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - This month's (ovarian cancer)awareness campaign included the talents of various supporters, each with their own purpose and methods for raising the profile of ovarian cancer-
Since our original launching of the Feel Teal campaign, Shelly Ryan has played an integral role in pushing the awareness message across to the general public.
Much of her own energy drawn from the late great comedic genius, Gilda Radner.
Shelly Ryan's love and honest enthusiasm for her craft is clearly visible through her jokes, just like second-nature. She is a great observer of life, perhaps part anthropologist of wit, with a knack for dissecting everyday life situations, and turning them into something humorous.
It's not surprising that her journey has brought her to this place, such creativity cannot be contained nor kept still! The Feel Teal Club is pleased to be a part of her travels as she takes with her, further awareness to every corner of the globe. We know there are many other writers putting their pens to work for similar causes, when used in the right manner, it's a mighty weapon to have on one's side.
For Shelly, this creation will do more than tell a tale, it will offer many "hope" for a better outcome (of ovarian cancer), aide in further education towards the disease while giving them the gift of laughter!
As a "Titan of Teal", Shelly is proactive in lending her voice to the campaign, constantly seeking out charities to gain further insight and knowledge, a wonderful example for women everywhere!
With her book release-date soon to be announced, all eyes are on Shelly's Blogs and Websites where we eagerly await word of news of final print. Her personal contribution goes beyond the humour with a portion of proceeds from her book being donated to ovarian cancer organisations.
What happens next, is anyone's guess!
