TMG Pageant Network Announces Exclusive Coverage Of The 2012 Miss America Pageant In Las Vegas, NV To Be Broadcast On YouTube

Online, January 10, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The 2012 Miss America Pageant will broadcast live from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Saturday, January 14 on ABC. TMG will begin broadcasting events on Tuesday, January 10 with daily coverage of the pageant, events, behind the scenes, and limited access interviews to be broadcast on YouTube.

TMG Pageant Network is the only pageant related program sponsored by YouTube with 250,000 direct views and over 25 million global impressions.

Returning again the 2nd year for complete pageant reporting is special correspondent Katie Stam, Miss Indiana 2008 and Miss America 2009. Also joining her on the correspondent team is Cris Crotz, Miss Nevada 2010; Brooke Poklemba, Miss Maryland 2009; Julianna Erdesz, Miss Nevada 2008; and Rachael Todd, Miss Florida 2009.

Coverage begins Tuesday, January 10 with the first preliminary competition at Planet Hollywood's Theater for the Performing Arts where the girls are divided into three group rotations for swimsuit and evening wear, talent showcase and onstage interview questions.

On Wednesday, January 11, the TMG correspondent team meets the judges - Kris Jenner, Mark Ballas, Teri Polo, Lara Spencer, Chris Powell, Mike Fleiss, and Raul de Molina. Additional coverage of the second preliminary competition continues.

Thursday, January 12, coverage of the third preliminary competition concludes along with additional interviews, and behind the scene coverage of the luncheon with 2011 Miss America, Teresa Scanlan.

Final preparations begin on Friday, January 13 with co-host Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet.

Live reporting begins on Saturday, January 14 on the YouTube channel for TMG at 6 p.m. PST. This will include live blogging and twitter feeds from TMG and the correspondent team.
