To Hell and Back!

Online, June 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - According to urban legends and modern folklore, the location allegedly houses a "gateway to hell" and is haunted by spirits including Pearl Bryan, whose corpse was found in a field several miles from the site in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Unsubstantiated stories include Bryan's murderers being Satanists who, according to fanciful tales, cursed the location and vowed to haunt everyone involved in prosecuting the case. Also according to urban legend, a dancer named Johanna committed suicide after her father murdered her lover, a singer at the club. Native American History and fault lines also run thru this disturbing site.

The site was originally used as a slaughterhouse in the early 19th century and later torn down for construction of a roadhouse that took on various names, such as The Brisbane, until he purchased it in 1978.

In June 2011, 5th Dimension Paranormal Investigators - a multi-state paranormal investigative team - set out to investigate Bobby Mackey's place and search for answers on their own using many pieces of equipment like the ghost box, digital recorders, and night vision camcorders. What they got was something they never expected.

At one point in the investigation, while performing a ghost box experiment in the basement level inside the "room with faces" Jan Szalaj, Amanda Kucharek, Angela Finnerty, Luci Leibfried and Anthony Agate were provoking the spirits to give them a sign and at one point Jan prompted the spirits to "scratch them". In a matter of minutes Anthony was scratched on the back of his neck. "It felt like an electrical charge or a hundred bugs attacking you" Anthony explained. "It did not feel like a human-being scratching you".

Picures of white mist figures on the stage and blue "light" anomolies in the basement are among the many pieces of picture evidence the group has caught. Amanda recorded a "growl" sound on her camcorder while in the room with the well.

Although many outsiders to the paranormal community might think this is all explainable and nothing but "rubbish", the members of this team know what they experienced and what they captured and will continue to find that one true piece of definitive evidence to convince all skeptics that there IS life after death.
