Tommy Smith and All Year Cooling Donates to Help South Florida Children

Fort Lauderdale, FL, April 15, 2017 (Newswire.com) - All Year Cooling, a family-owned South Florida air conditioner installation and repair company has made a donation to the JT Reading Room. The donation will enable middle to high school students improve their literary skills as well as excel in mathematics.

$1,000 is the cost per child to participate in the Reading Room for an entire school year. Donors are urged to donate this amount or greater as any additional donations will go towards college scholarships. This program is designed to help students grow in different areas of literacy with the help of certified teachers and teacher’s aids.

The JT Reading Room was launched in 2010 and has since gone on to raise over $1,000,000 for these children. This has allowed the program to expand across 60 different public schools in South Florida. While encouraging children to learn how to use their critical literacy skills as a form of self-expression, the JT Reading Room has also raised over $140,000 that will go towards higher education scholarships.
