Tomorrow Leaders Institute Launches First Programme for Ambitious Executives and Managers
A new initiative aims to help ambitious business executives around the globe to target and win their dream job at the C-suite level
Online, October 12, 2011 (Newswire.com) - In today's uncertain economic climate, senior managers are staying put in their current roles for longer, blocking the path of talented leaders seeking promotion to better management jobs. At the same time, the average age that executives become CEO is decreasing, to around 50, so time is running out for ambitious executives aiming at the C-suite.
The Tomorrow Leaders Institute's new Platinum Programme aims to help executives break through the barriers to success and to reach their dream C-suite role sooner.
Over the course of a year, members of the Platinum Tier of the Tomorrow Leaders Institute attend high-level retreats, participate in focused training calls and join an online forum. The first programme, which is able to take only 27 members, is due to start in November 2011.
The founders of the Tomorrow Leaders Institute are husband-and-wife team Steven Sonsino and Jacqueline Moore. Steven is a business school professor and has coached and mentored leaders around the globe, and Jacqueline is a former columnist and senior journalist at the Financial Times newspaper. The couple are authors of five books together, including the Amazon business bestseller The Seven Failings of Really Useless Leaders.
"We designed the Platinum Programme to combine the best live experience of a modular business school programme and the best online experience of a virtual programme," says Steven Sonsino. "The virtual curriculum is intensive and sustains the forward momentum of the live retreats by allowing you to put what you learn into practice right away."
Working with their global peers on the programme in a structured way also brings accountability for executives who want to build their leadership reputation globally. "Executives have to build their reputation as C-suite candidates before they'll be considered for high office," says Sonsino. "So we're in this together with our clients. Because the reputation of the Tomorrow Leaders Institute depends on the success of our members."
The Platinum Programme includes:
- Two live retreats with Steven and the Tomorrow Leaders Institute coaches
- 10 in-depth training calls
- 10 open Q&A calls
- CDs, MP3 recordings, and printed transcripts of all Platinum calls
- An exclusive online forum to interact with other Platinum members
- A range of bonuses such as VIP tickets to the Tomorrow Leaders Institute Fall Global Event, "Tomorrow 2012"
- For this first programme only, the Tomorrow Leaders Institute is offering lifetime access and lifetime updates to a huge range of events and materials - all included in the Platinum Programme price.
The backbone of the Platinum Programme is the two live retreats, the first to be held in November 2011 in London and the second in spring 2012, probably in Dubai. The events will feature in-depth leadership success training, as well as structured masterminding and networking. They will provide all the strategies and tactics executives need to get themselves on to the CEO fast track, and will give members the opportunity to be featured in the "hotseat" for a live personal leadership makeover.
The Tomorrow Leaders Institute is launching with the support of two highly experienced Advisers to the Board. Oliver Jones is the former CEO of real estate groups Citex and The Asset Factor, while Patrick Raming is formerly of foods group Sara Lee in France.
The Institute's faculty of 12 associate professors includes Dr Tommy Weir, executive director of the Emerging Markets Leadership Center and author of The CEO Shift, and Ian Taylor, author of A Practical Guide to Assessment Centres and Selection Methods.
Steven Sonsino and Jacqueline Moore designed the Tomorrow Leaders Institute based on their experience of studying and working with hundreds of the world's most successful executives in companies ranging from HSBC and Deutsche Bank to Microsoft and Bristol Myers Squibb. From precious gems of insider knowledge to exclusive networking opportunities, from structured masterminds to personal one-on-one coaching, the Tomorrow Leaders Institute helps executives to think big, be extraordinary and settle for nothing less than the best.
Steven has a proven track record of helping executives increase their visibility, create more impact and make personal progress. Prabhas Sinha, a director of Computer Associates, India, says: "Steven has made a significant contribution to my management style. People see me as different individual now and stakeholders have spotted me in a crowd of 2000 people... Simply put: if I did not know Steven, I probably would have kept guessing even after my retirement that why my career didn't take off the way I had dreamt. Now I am very positive that I will reach my career goals."
