Top MBA College Kolkata Heritage Business School Organizes Interaction With Corporate

kolkata, February 24, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Heritage Business school has always believed in broadening the student’s horizon and with that aim in view, they have consistently and regularly  organized interaction of the students with eminent visitors from the corporate world so that they can benefit from the experiences gathered from there. Here is a brief synopsis of the same.

Since its inception HBS had paid host to number of luminaries. For example HBS had played host to the Ex-President Of India, Missile Man and Bharat Ratna, Late. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. His interaction with the students was lively and the nuggets he shared from his immense mine of knowledge was loved by the mesmerized students. Other visitors in the school had been delegates from Cardiff Business School, Mr. Kaushik Banerjee, VP Citi Investment, Hong Kong, Mr. Roopen Roy, MD, Deloitte Haskins and others. All of them narrated stories from their lives and gave valuable advice to the students on how to succeed in life.

Recent Seminars at Heritage Business School

Other than these eminent visitors, a seminar by UK Law Mission was held inside the Heritage Business School campus on 22nd January 2016. The seminar was conducted by a delegate from UK Law Mission and Comprised of 6 Law Faculty Members from various UK Universities and the British Council. The attendees at the seminar comprised of the faculty along with the students of the institute. The post seminar deliberations were conducted between the management and heads of the institutes coming under the purview of the heritage group.

On the same day, an Industry Institute Interface was conducted by the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. While the interface was not strictly a corporate venture, the annual CTC cited by them was Rs 10 Lakh per Annum plus perquisites applicable to the armed forces. The interaction and discussion between the armed force representative and the students was very interesting and constructive from where the students learned about many unknown facts.

On 29th January 2016, The Regional Manager of Life Insurance Corporation of India interacted with the business students and gave them valuable suggestions on how to effectively manage a huge entity like LIC that has thousands of in house employees, agents and other staff. This particular interaction was really informative and interesting for the students.
