IAFT continues its series of Master Workshops with top industry experts

LOS ANGELES, July 1, 2010 - The International Academy of Film and Television (IAFT) is honored to host its upcoming Acting Master Workshop conducted by highly-acclaimed television and film actor Paul Ben-Victor, who is best known for his lead role as Stan McQueen in USA Network's witness protection series In Plain Sight. Entitled "Character/Chameleon", this will be a rare opportunity for actors and aspiring enthusiasts to bring their acting skills to a whole new level and learn from the finest in the industry. The workshop is scheduled for 10 July 2010 in Venice, California.

Paul Ben-Victor will shed light to workshop attendees an invaluable perspective in the craft of acting, exemplified by his critically acclaimed and varied range of roles across numerous HBO series, while his recent works include regular appearances on the hit comedy series Everybody Hates Chris as Coach Thurman, and a leading role as chief inspector Stan McQueen on In Plain Sight.

Ben-Victor has also worked on over 50 films alongside Hollywood's best such as Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Al Pacino, Philip Seymour Hoffman, John Travolta, Christopher Walken, Clint Eastwood, Tony Scott, Quentin Tarantino and many more.

"We are very excited to be hosting Paul Ben-Victor's first-ever classroom session, and having someone of this caliber is a testament to IAFT's commitment to bringing top-notch, practical education to its students," said Keith Sensing, Executive Director of IAFT.

Character/Chameleon was first scheduled to be held in November 2009, but was postponed due to a change in Ben-Victor's filming schedule. This much anticipated workshop is now back by popular demand, and IAFT advises interested participants to enroll early to avoid disappointment.
