"We are pleased to have the opportunity to show several Pilatus executives, in person, how our business operates," Antoniadis said. "This visit also allows for the discussion of both short and long term strategies and aspirations."
Also in attendance along with Mr. Bucher, were Thomas Bosshard, the President and CEO of U.S.-based Pilatus Business Aircraft, Ltd, Martha Geisshuesler, its CFO, and Daniel Kunz, the Director, Sales & Marketing of the Switzerland-based aircraft manufacturer, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd.
PlaneSense, a fractional ownership program manager, employs the largest civilian fleet of PC-12 aircraft in the world, and it took delivery of its forty-ninth Pilatus PC-12 single-engine turboprop in August of this year. This aircraft (seen above right) is the 1200th PC-12 manufactured by Pilatus. The 1200th PC-12 carries the same registration, N112AF, as the first PlaneSense PC-12, which was delivered in September of 1995 and was the 20th ever built.
"We have been in close cooperation with Pilatus for nearly 20 years," Antoniadis explained. "The relationship is advantageous for both parties. The PC-12's long list of features and capabilities has been a great contributor to our success. Our company's superior service is complemented by the aircraft's unique performance and versatility."
PlaneSense has achieved steady growth since its inception 17 years ago, and has recently broken multiple flight records. Notably, it has exceeded the milestone of 200,000 flight operations performed.
