Toronto Family Law Firm Fine & Associates Professional Corporation Introduces a $1000 Annual Scholarship for Canadian Students

Fine & Associates Professional Corporation is providing financial assistance for a student entering a Canadian university in the fall who exemplifies academic excellence and an understanding of Family/Divorce Law issues and the Canadian legal system.

In an effort to support students who are committed to pursuing a University education in Canada, Fine & Associates Professional Corporation - Family & Divorce Lawyers is offering a $1000 annual scholarship award.

The financial assistance will be awarded to a student entering a Canadian college or university in the fall who exemplifies academic excellence and an understanding of Family & Divorce law issues and the Canadian legal system.

Lorne Fine, founder of Fine & Associates Professional Corporation Family & Divorce Lawyers (www.torontodivorcelaw.com), attributes his education to his success. Mr. Fine understands that education is the key to success for Canada's future. He believes it is important to ensure that intelligent individuals, that may not have the financial means, are provided the necessary assistance to ensure that they make a valuable contribution to our society.

The cost of education is high. A student has a variety of expenses associated with post-secondary education, including, but not limited to, tuition, books, supplies, accommodation, etc. Mr. Fine believes that a financial award will assist the recipient of the scholarship to alleviate some of his/her financial strain and allow the student to strive to achieve his/her goals.

In applying for the scholarship, students must submit a certified copy of their high school transcript/report card and write a brief essay (1000 words max) that explores how to improve Family/Divorce law and/or the legal process in dealing with Family/Divorce proceedings. Instead of submitting a hard copy of the essay and transcript/report card to Fine & Associates Professional Corporation, applicants are required to post it online on a website, blog or forum. Through this process, the Toronto family and divorce lawyers can select a recipient based on his or her written submissions and their academic transcript.

Canadian students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university this fall or next spring can visit Fine & Associates Professional Corporation's scholarship page to learn more details about the scholarship, as well as download the application.
