Torrey Hills Technologies, LLC (THT) was ranked 2nd among the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in San Diego county for 2009 by San Diego Business Journal at the awards event held outdoors at The Westgate Hotel in San Diego, CA today.
Online, October 22, 2009 (Newswire.com) - (SAN DIEGO, CA, September 17, 2009) -- Torrey Hills Technologies, LLC (THT) was ranked 2nd among the 100 fastest growing privately held companies in San Diego county for 2009 by San Diego Business Journal at the awards event held outdoors at The Westgate Hotel in San Diego, CA today.
For the second year in a row, THT has been ranked in the top 5 on the Fastest 100 list. Despite the current economic downturn, THT grew 375 percent for the past three years from 2006 to 2008 and moved up 3 places from last year's ranking. Founded in 2004, the company's core business includes fabricating microelectronics packaging components and furnace equipment for the electronic and solar cell industries.
This ranking is the latest in a series of milestones for THT. Thus far in 2009, the company was also ranked at No. 188 on this year's Inc. 500 list of America's fastest-growing private companies and reĀ¬ceived the 2009 Small Business Exporter of the Year award from the local office of the Small Business Administration.
