Toss Lab, the Creators of Enterprise Communication Platform JANDI, Raises Capital From Qualcomm and HnAP
- Qualcomm, through its venture investment group Qualcomm Ventures, and HnAP led the raise, bringing Toss Lab's total pre-Series A funding to over USD 4.5M - JANDI grew over 40% a month in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea last year and is eyeing new geographies in 2016
Taipei, Taiwan, February 11, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Daniel Chan, CEO, announced that Toss Lab raised additional funds in December 2015 to bolster growth.

The new investment was led by Qualcomm Ventures and HnAP and brings total pre-Series A convertible bonds raised to over USD 4.5M. Qualcomm Ventures and HnAP join SoftBank Ventures and Cherubic Ventures on Toss Lab’s institutional roster.

The raise comes after Toss Lab won Qualcomm Ventures’ QPrize™ international seed investment competition. First, they won the regional competition, then went on to become the QPrize Grand Finals winner for 2015.
JANDI’s user base grew over 40% a month in Japan, Taiwan, and Korea in 2015, and includes influential customers in diverse industries ranging from tech and media (such as Ticketmonster, YelloMobile, and Mangoplate) to offline retail (such as The Booth, and Vatos Tacos).
The recent release of JANDI Connect, which will initially support integrations with GitHub, JIRA, Trello, and Google Calendar as well as a webhook (open API), further enhances JANDI’s position as the central hub for all its customers’ communication and collaboration needs, and establishes it as the leading player of its kind for startups and innovative companies.
