Tragedy Inspires Irish Rocker

Irish Rocker Chloe Wilders who recently signed with SRI Records in Los Angeles has released a song called "Are You Proud (Social Threatwork)."
The song was inspired after her community lost two teenage sisters from suicide due to online social network bullying. This loss broke young Wilders' heart and to express her feelings she sat down and wrote this song dedicated to Erin and Shannon Gallagher.
"Are You Proud (Social Threatwork)" strikingly shows the pain, anger and needless loss of life that can result when groups of people engage in attacking and cruel behavior. The haunting chorus "Are you Proud?" strikes at the heart of the immense damage that can affect an entire community. All proceeds from the sale of the song and video are going to rocking4peace.org for their anti-bullying school programs.
The video can be seen on Youtube at http://youtu.be/9ZP6xJg9NVg and at srirecords.com/videos/ the video can be purchased at http://tinyurl.com/oom62zw and the song can be heard at no cost and also purchased via downloaded at http://tinyurl.com/ch5qf3p. SRI Records plans to also have the song and video available for sale on itunes, Amazon and all other download sites shortly with the proceeds also going to the charity.
SRI Label Group's CEO Shelly Liebowitz who is also on the Board of Advisors for Rocking4Peace felt that the organization's goal of promoting peace among middle school children and teaching tolerance and how to deal with bullying and unrest was a perfect match for the song's message. "This song is both very touching and haunting. All of us here at the label are very proud of Chloe. She has a very big heart and you can feel the pain she has from the loss of these two sisters that she knew. Since www.rocking4peace.org has a program to educate young people about the perils of bullying, I felt that they have the same goal" said Liebowitz.
Rocking4Peace has recently entered second phase of funding specifically targeted for middle school peace education and is 100% volunteer funded. With support and involvement of such artists as Bono, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Beyonce', Lady Gaga and others, their intention is to teach peace and tolerance to "save lives in schools and set into their thinking for their futures."
