Travco Group Reaps Its Fifth Amadeus Award

Online, May 16, 2011 (Newswire.com) - In a revolution inspired event which took place on May 11th, Amadeus once again recognized Travco Group for generating the highest volume of business in the market.

Since the revolution, Travco Group has been keen on promoting tourism domestically to help boost the economy, and has always remained optimistic about the revival of the industry. These efforts proved to be fruitful as the company maintained its status as the number one winner of the "Top Aviation Customer Award" for the fifth consecutive year, despite the circumstances.

The Amadeus annual party took place at the Intercontinental City Stars, with an Egyptian theme to highlight the recent events and create a more patriotic feel. Another distinctive feature was the launch of the new "Ticketing" Award, whereas Travco Group was ranked as the second highest issuer of tickets through its 13 branches in Egypt.

The awards were distributed by Mr. Ahmed Youssef, regional manager Amadeus. The awards were received by EgyptAir Reservation Manager, Mr. Mostafa Amin.
