Online, March 6, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The consequences of the political unrest that took place in Egypt have been unsettling with regards to the tourism industry; however, Travco was highly determined and persistent to accelerate the recovery of the Egyptian tourism sector. These efforts seem to be fruitful as the company hosted tourist groups from various destinations, and among them was the Austrian group that arrived to Egypt on the 3rd of March 2011.
The group was accommodated in the Travco owned Iberotel Makadi Beach situated in Madinat Makadi, Hurghada. Their agenda entailed holding press conferences with the Egyptian Tourism Authorities along with another one where Makadi and Travco was the main topic. Among the group were 13 journalists from well known Austrian publications, three representatives from the Austrian Foreign Affairs Ministry, three from the TUI Austria press department, and one from the Laudia Air press department.
As ambassadors to their community, Travco strived to make the group's stay more than exceptional, and was keen to deliver the civilized image that Egypt deserves to appear with. Moreover, Travco exerted immense efforts to assure the stability of the Egyptian situation by welcoming tourists from various destinations, which is a good indicator for the Egyptian tourism industry.
