Carlsbad, CA (March 24th, 2010) - In recognition of National Workplace Wellness Week, Tri Wellness, a San Diego-based corporate wellness company, is hosting a free luncheon for Human Resources executives and Benefits Administrators on Wednesday April 7, 2010.

National Workplace Wellness Week starts on April 5 and offers a new approach to some old, stubborn problems that employers and employees face related to costs, health, productivity, and morale, to mention a few. This information is vital to any company, and will allow companies to take action in order to tackle their health and wellness issues.

This government initiative, along with the approach of "preventative care" that many companies across the United States are now using, will effectively address concerns and questions that employers have regarding the Health Care Reform bill that has just been passed. In addition, the issue of the high cost of health at the workplace will also be addressed.

Two long-time experts, one in the field of Health Promotion/Wellness Consulting and the other in Human Resources development, will present valuable information, insight, and free resources as to what employers and employees can now do to take matters into their own hands. "Staying ahead of the game" is what one San Diego employer has suggested to keep the "Doctor" away.

Attendees will find out which health and workplace related legislative bills are currently in the pipeline ready to get signed, that are in addition to the newly passed Health Care bill. These bills will have a strong impact on businesses from a cost and well-being standpoint. Strategies will be discussed that may prepare businesses to better compete with rising costs, and explain how to reduce their costs while improving output. In addition, studies will be offered that put a whole new light onto what is going on with regards to health in many of America's workplaces.

Problems, solutions, and approaches will be touched upon that will change the way a company looks at its business and the way it manages its most important asset -its employees. After all, unhealthy behavior does not simply affect the individual, but has an effect on everyone around them. That effect is expensive, but also preventable.
