Trojan Storage Announces the Grand Opening of a 191,950 Square Foot Facility in Commerce, California

Trojan Storage has announced the grand opening of a brand new storage facility in Commerce, California.

The Class A two-story property offers 191,950 net rentable square feet of storage spread across 1,681 units. At over one-quarter mile long, the property includes a heavy mix of drive-up units in addition to fully climate-controlled spaces.

Located at 6200 Garfield Ave. in Commerce, a densely populated Los Angeles suburb eight miles southeast of Downtown, the facility is situated on a major thoroughfare with traffic counts of 25,000 vehicles per day.

Chris Chan, Director of Acquisitions at Trojan Storage, notes, "This was an extremely challenging multiyear entitlement in a high barrier to entry and supply-constrained market. We first identified the asset in 2018 and are thrilled to finally be open for business. The facility is well-positioned for success not only due to a lack of storage in the market, but also spillover demand from industrial users in the area."

The property is also located in a federally designated opportunity zone.
