True Blue Inclusion and Macy's Host a Dinner for Latina Leaders of Note in Miami

The first of a series of dinner conversations to connect and engage the powerful voice and perspective of Latina corporate business executives throughout the country to build on their future took place in Miami last week.

In early September, True Blue Inclusion and Macy's co-hosted an intimate networking dinner for Latina Leaders of Note in Miami. This is the launch of a series of dinner conversations being convened to connect and engage the powerful voice and perspective of Latina corporate business executives throughout the country to build on their future ahead.

According to new research released by Nielsen in their study on the Latina Power Shift, U.S. Hispanic women, have recently and rapidly surfaced as prominent contributors to the educational, economic and cultural wellbeing of not only their own ethnicity, but of American society and the consumer marketplace. This rise of Latinas is driven both by strong demographics and a healthy inclination toward success in mainstream America.

"Latinas can and will and are the future of American business. It is an honor to have opportunity to work with Macy's on connecting this powerful group, and help advance the dialogue that will come out of this meeting.

Dineen Garcia, Macy's VP of Diversity Strategies added, "Macy's is honored to support and promote Latina Leadership. We recognize the value Latinas have not only as customers but also as Leaders in Society and in households across America. We applaud Latinas on their contributions and know that what we are seeing now in terms of economic power is only the tip of the iceberg. "
