True Blue Inclusion and Macy's Host a Dinner for Latina Leaders of Note in Miami
The first of a series of dinner conversations to connect and engage the powerful voice and perspective of Latina corporate business executives throughout the country to build on their future took place in Miami last week.
Online, September 19, 2013 (Newswire.com) - In early September, True Blue Inclusion and Macy's co-hosted an intimate networking dinner for Latina Leaders of Note in Miami. This is the launch of a series of dinner conversations being convened to connect and engage the powerful voice and perspective of Latina corporate business executives throughout the country to build on their future ahead.
According to new research released by Nielsen in their study on the Latina Power Shift, U.S. Hispanic women, have recently and rapidly surfaced as prominent contributors to the educational, economic and cultural wellbeing of not only their own ethnicity, but of American society and the consumer marketplace. This rise of Latinas is driven both by strong demographics and a healthy inclination toward success in mainstream America.
According to Catherine Smith, founder of True Blue Inclusion, This meeting is an opportunity to celebrate the growing power of the Latina Executive. Executives from Southwest Airlines, Google, Perry Ellis, Ryder Systems, Ingersoll Rand, Cigna all attended the September 9th event, held at Casa de Moderna in Miami. There are plans to convene more conversations across the country and welcome ideas of Latina Leaders of Note for the future gatherings.
