Twenty Year Old Wins Board of Education Seat in Ohio
Jason Schaumleffel won a seat on the Tri-Vally Board of Education at the age of Twenty. As a political science major, he hopes to pursue a political career and make a difference in the educational system at his alma mater.
Zanesville, Ohio, November 4, 2015 (Newswire.com) - At the age of twenty, Jason Schaumleffel won a seat on the Tri-Valley Board of Education. Jason is a 2014 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Jason started his political career this summer at the age of 19 years old. This summer, Jason collected enough signatures to be certified for the November election. He wants to bring a youthful and fresh perspective to the table. Jason wants to encourage post secondary education and bring technology to the classrooms. Jason spent his summer participating in eight internships, including one with the Muskingum County commissioners. Jason was the youngest person to run in the Ohio 2015 November election. Jason is studying political science, communication, and economics at Muskingum University.
