Company continues to expand with employment demand growth Alberta and Saskatchewan
Online, April 7, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Actyl Group, Inc., a leader in international workforce solutions, has welcomed two industry professionals to its teams in western Canada.
Joining the Actyl Group at its Edmonton office will be Luma Hameed, who will serve as the company's new international recruitment manager. Hameed previously served as an international staff consultant at the McDonald's Corporation, and brings much experience in the areas of international staffing and immigration. Actyl Group will also welcome Joy Morales, who will be the international recruitment secretary at the company's Regina office.
"We are very pleased that Luma and Joy have decided to join our team, as they both have valuable experience in the area of international recruitment," said Adrian Schulz of Actyl Group. "As demand has grown for skilled workers throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta, we have greatly expanded our work to bring people from around the world to this region. The experience of these two industry professionals will be invaluable as we continue to serve the recruitment needs of leading companies throughout western Canada."
Hameed has years of experience providing advice and support for a variety of human resources functions, working closely with employees, operations, management and external clients. She has been actively involved in recruitment, labor relations, negotiations, training, staff development and more. At McDonald's, she was responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and leading project management activities, while maintaining strong relationships with the corporation's various clients.
Morales previously worked with Industrial Personnel and Management Services (IPMS) in the Philippines, serving as project officer. In her new role, she will provide critical support to Actyl Group recruiting staff members, clients and partners.
"This is a very exciting time to work in the international recruitment field," said Schulz. "With the help of these two exceptional professionals, we are increasing our capacity to best serve our clients. This will allow us to continue to be a leader in this burgeoning industry."
Actyl Group, a Profit Hot 50 company, actively recruits workers to fill needed jobs in Alberta and Saskatchewan, due mostly to the region's rapid economic growth over the past several years. Leveraging the Foreign Worker Program, the company partners with countries across the globe to find and recruit well educated and experienced candidates for a variety of positions.
