Two Medical Marijuana Dispensary Training Classes in Pennsylvania This February Hosted by HempStaff

This professional training course teaches participants about cannabis, cannabis products and Pennsylvania’s Medical Marijuana laws and regulations in addition to helping them create their resume to increase their chances of getting those coveted medical marijuana dispensary interviews.

HempStaff, a medical marijuana staffing and training agency, is hosting two Medical Marijuana Dispensary Agent Training Classes in Pennsylvania in Feb. The first class will be held Feb. 11 in Philadelphia at the Doubletree Philadelphia Airport located at 4509 Island Avenue. The second is slated for Feb. 25 in Pittsburgh at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh Airport located at 8402 University Boulevard Moon, Pennsylvania. Both trainings have 2 classes to select from, 8:00am to 12:00pm or 1:30pm to 5:30pm. The cost is $249 with advance online registration or $300 cash at the door, if seats are available.

According to the latest research, more than 1.2 million people already use medical marijuana for a wide variety of medical problems, and the industry continues to grow. In 2016, the industry for both medical and legal marijuana grew to $7.1 billion, a sharp 25 percent from 2015. Currently, 28 states and D.C have legal medical marijuana laws with Pennsylvania joining the ranks in 2016. Trained dispensary staff will be needed to keep up with the pace of the new medical marijuana dispensaries opening in the state.

HempStaff has trained and certified more than 1,800 dispensary agents nationwide and continues to hold classes across the United States with many more slated for 2017. HempStaff is also a recruiting agency, when business owners contract us to find entry level dispensary or cultivation site workers, students who successfully pass the course are contacted first.

HempStaff’s course offers participants training about cannabis and cannabis products along with all the information to keep up-to-date with Pennsylvania medical marijuana laws. The course is completed with a certification exam, and HempStaff offers a resume review to help best prepare them for seeking employment.

"I gained a ton of information that was very helpful and will be very useful in pursuing medical marijuana jobs in this industry. I had a great time at this event, and I know everyone else did as well,” said one recent student about their experience with the course. HempStaff provides a number of testimonials on their website from satisfied students who gained knowledge and appreciated the resume assistance in order to find work in the industry.

Permit applications for Pennsylvania licenses to grow and dispense medical marijuana are available online and will be accepted by the state from Feb 20 to March 20. It is anticipated that the state will announce their selections mid-summer. For more information about the upcoming training and to register, visit HempStaff.com.
