Two Students Launch the First Social Network Devoted to Connecting Colleges Across New York City

Online, August 5, 2010 (Newswire.com) - NEW YORK, NY - Two Manhattan students have created the first social network that is devoted to connecting students in the five boroughs of New York City. John Tasch, 23, and Matthew Frankel, 23, were inspired to create their website, The NYC Connect, after discovering the growing interest of city students looking to network with their peers.

The NYC Connect was created with the purpose of connecting students across New York City. The site has a very familiar feel to other popular social networking sites except it is aimed at city students.
