Two Time Food Network Cupcake Wars Winner Opens Cupcake Shop in Jacksonville, FL

Online, September 11, 2011 (Newswire.com) - JACKSONVILLE, FLA. - Miss Holly, aka Hollis Wilder, is coming to St. John's Town Center with her gourmet cupcake and frozen yogurt concept, SweetByHolly. Wilder is a two-time winner of Cupcake Wars, on the Food Network. Her popular store in Waterford Lakes Town Center, Orlando was recently the location for a Food Network pilot set to air in October. A longtime savory chef to the stars in Los Angeles before relocating to Florida, Wilder recently signed with Abrams Publishing out of NYC to write a cookbook in which she is taking the cupcake craze to the next stage of its development by attempting to revolutionize this American Classic. After considering a multitude of expansion options, Wilder says the decision to come to JAX was made for her when key staff indicated an interest in returning home to Jacksonville and Simon Properties offered her a prime spot for SweetByHolly at the Town Center. The new store will offer 30 flavors of gourmet cupcakes baked from scratch daily, along with 12 flavors of self-serve frozen yogurt and 48 toppings. Just like in Orlando, SweetByHolly will offer online ordering and delivery in the metro area via a refrigerated cupcake truck which Wilder says will have her picture on the back of it, just like the one in Orlando. One way or another, Jacksonville will be seeing a lot of Miss Holly soon! The store's grand opening, Saturday, September 24th, will be a fundraiser with 100% of the proceeds going to local non-profit, Girls on the Run.
