Tycon Power Systems announces the long awaited release of its premier RemotePro™ series of fully self contained remote power systems. These systems are designed to provide continuous 24/7 power from the sun in areas where grid power isn't affordable, available or practical.

The RemotePro™ can maintain charge from solar and grid power, via POE, so they are also useful as an extended UPS backup system.
The RemotePro™ are available in 1.25W to 50W continuous power (24/7)versions. Larger versions are in development.

The sealed and weatherproof enclosures have a generous amount of space inside and a removable mounting plate for mounting all types of customer electronics.

"The RemotePro™ are complete standalone power systems that are designed to operate over a wide Industrial temperature range in harsh outdoor environments. " said Scott Parsons, CEO. "They are DC voltage based so they don't have the poor efficiency problems seen with DC to AC inverter type systems. Our design approach provides great performance at a better price point."

The RemotePro™ systems feature: Pole or Wall Mounting, High Efficiency solar panels with 25 year output warranty, Heavy Duty Solar mounts certified to 110MPH, GEL/AGM Batteries for wide temperature performance and 5 year service life, Advanced dual input controller with regulated voltage (12,18,24 or 48V) POE output / regulated wire terminal output, Weatherproof enclosures and choice or 12V battery or 24V battery systems.

Some example applications where the RemotePro systems are being used:
Video Surveillance
Wireless Base Stations
Wireless repeaters and Backhauls
Remote sensing of soil moisture
Remote weather stations

* MSRP starting at $199.95
