U.S. Air Force Takes A Stand Against America's Silent Killer

Today our armed forces have their sights clearly in focus fighting the war on terrorism, however, we have a very serious enemy right here on American soil and the U.S. Air Force responds.

Poor health and conditioning, a silent killer falling under the radar for many years, clearly accounts for an astonishing level of pain, suffering, and even death. The high levels of obesity and associated disease processes in this country today are at epidemic levels. The U.S. Air Force takes action by raising the fitness standards required of our soldiers.

Surprisingly, these new fitness standards have our service men and women scrambling for solutions to improve their health and fitness quickly, in order to meet the new standards. The ramifications of failing the new physical fitness test could have far reaching affects, including loss of rank or discharge.

Local fitness expert Chris Gray has stepped in to help institute a new training program using old school training methods with rocks, ropes, logs, and chains to prepare service men and women for the new standards.

Local serviceman, Paul Adkins, lost 40 pounds and passed his physical fitness test with flying colors by following the program outlined by Gray at Punch Kettlebell Gym in Dover.
