UC Irvine Extension Appoints Missy Clayton as Corporate Accounts Manager for Corporate Training Program
University of California, Irvine Extension, the continuing education arm of UC Irvine, today announced the appointment of Missy Clayton as corporate accounts manager for the school's corporate training program.
Online, November 24, 2009 (Newswire.com) - November 24, 2009 - IRVINE, Calif. - University of California, Irvine Extension, the continuing education arm of UC Irvine, today announced the appointment of Missy Clayton as corporate accounts manager for the school's corporate training program. In this position, Clayton will work directly with corporations in providing training solutions to increase business growth and profitability and also work with highly qualified UC Irvine Extension course instructors to develop content specifically tailored for participating corporations.
"With Clayton's educational background in organizational development and leadership, coupled with her prior work experience in training and professional development, she will definitely serve as an integral part of the team," said Gary Matkin, dean of continuing education at UC Irvine. "Her insight, expertise and fresh perspective will help lead the program toward future growth and success."
Prior to joining UC Irvine Extension, Clayton spent one year working in the training and professional development areas of the human resources department for the city of Irvine. She was tasked with assessing corporate training needs, overseeing program implementations and developing evaluation strategies. Clayton also has several years of experience in product sales and customer relations.

Clayton received her bachelor's degree in psychology from UC Santa Barbara and her master's degree in organizational leadership, with an emphasis in human resources in training and recruitment, from Chapman University.
