Ultra Green International Appoints New Financial Director

Clean tech company Ultra Green International (UGI) has appointed Vance Riley as its new Financial Director. Vance will play an integral role in UGI's transformation from a R&D company to a commercial business .

Vance's role will also include managing financial risks of the firm, seeking ways to reduce overheads and financial planning, including preparing detailed cash flow forecasts and predictions.

Vance comments on his appointment: "This is an exciting time for us, as we are in the process of taking the company to the next level. The renewable energy market is developing and we are going to grow with it and be at the forefront of this green revolution."

Prior to joining Ultra Green, Vance was the Financial Director for Tryst Engineering Group, a number of companies providing engineering, pipework and other specialised skills to blue chips and the public sector. During his time there, he was responsible for the profitability and management of the multi-site operation that had a group turnover of £20m and employed 300 people.

From 1995 - 2002, Vance was the Financial Director for Masonpoint Group Ltd, a group of seven engineering companies based in Middlesex with an annual turnover of approx £10m. His role involved managing the entire accounting, administration and personnel functions for its multi-site operations in the South East of England.
