Ultrapure Water Pharma to cover key water treatment topics
Online, April 25, 2010 (Newswire.com) - EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J.-There is still time to register to attend this year's Ultrapure Water Pharma conference that is slated for May 20-21 at the Hilton Hotel in East Brunswick. The meeting will feature 17 technical papers on topics important to pharmaceutical water treatment and also have a roundtable discussion on the state of this important water treatment segment.
Topics to be addressed by the conference will include USP requirements for pharma waters, microbiological control, rouging in pharmaceutical water systems, water system expansion, and distillation. Among the speakers will be Bob Livingston of Arion Water Inc., Patrick Banes of Astro Pak Corp., William V. Collentro of Water Consulting Specialists, Joseph Manfredi of GMP Systems, and Rod Freeman of Teva Parenteral Medicines.
Co-moderators of the conference will be Anthony Bevilicqua, Ph.D., of Mettler-Toledo Thornton Inc., and Andrew Collentro of Water Consulting Specialists. In addition to his duties at Mettler-Toledo Thornton, Dr. Bevilacqua chairs the United States Pharmacopeial Convention's water committee. Mr. Collentro has worked for many years with the design and operation of pharmaceutical water systems.
