UMANG- the Annual Gathering of SGI, Kolhapur

College annual events are vibrant roofs under which many talents showcase their skills and abilities. UMANG 2016, the annual gathering of Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes was recently held at their college campus in Kolhapur. This year Umang had a Bollywood theme, where the students personated famous Bollywood  characters of  Salman Khan from the film ‘Dabangg’, Prabhas from the film ‘Bahubali’, Raj Kapoor and Nargis from the film ‘Shree 420’ on stage. Umang is the right platform for all the students from different departments to showcase their passion for dance, drama, music, fine arts and many more. The 3 days gathering was attended by a large number of students from all the departments of Sanjay Ghodawat Institutes.

This year Umang saw many eccentric events like:

●     Group dance

●     Solo dance

●     Fashion show

●     Solo singing

●     Group singing

●     Skit musical drama

●     Fancy dress.

Finally the three days event concluded on a high note as all the students of the college danced and rejoiced to the tunes of the DJ. All the students and staff members alsoßß enjoyed a lot as the events were organised and managed perfectly.
