Union Square Bare All For Charity

Online, December 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Tired of climbing mountains, trekking through forests and navigating river bends, the fundraising team at Union Square put on their thinking caps to come up with a new and fun way of raising money for charity. The decision - to get their kit off modelling for a calendar, though they still plan on doing the trekking, climbing and navigating later in the year!

Unlike other staff calendar's Union Square took naked to a new level with 'Union Square Laid Bare'. Meet Simon Forya, Implementation Consultant, armed with nothing but a chainsaw, and Perry Jones, System Consultant, gloved and booted and ready for action. The placement students were brave - Helena covering her hazards with construction tape, Hannah smiling from behind a hard hat and Mark clutching a strategically placed traffic cone! The photography was creative, the models were willing and the end result is fantastic.

Union Square Software is the author of Workspace™, the most widely used document, email and knowledge management system within the UK construction industry (hence the calendar's theme!). Workspace™ stores emails and documents on a central web-based server, and pulls together information logically, against the relevant projects, organisations and contacts.

Union Square are dedicated to helping worthy causes in the Nottingham area, this year supporting Framework. Framework is a homelessness charity, based in Nottinghamshire, providing housing, support, training, care and resettlement services to thousands of homeless and vulnerable people in the East Midlands. All money raised will go directly to the charity and make an enormous difference to the area.

With support from their suppliers, Customer Plus (Marketing Agency), Rachel Wakefield (photographer) and Century Studios (Printers), the whole production effort was free of charge meaning every penny goes to charity.
