ABOUT VOYEMONTE
Voyemonte, - pronounced: vo-yay-mon-tay - is a Haitian Creole expression and literally means "to send upward". Here, Voyemonte means "cheering for" the diversity and creativity of the human spirit, as expressed through the combined use of words and images. The words are proverbs drawn from around the world. The images are artists' works used to illustrate these proverbs, sometimes literally or figuratively, sometimes metaphorically.

Our inspiration came from a desire to build a product based on the work of artists that combine an element of cultural significance and speaks across language barriers. We find beauty within the visual vocabulary unique to each culture.
