Unique Rhythms Entertainment Announce the Release of AZ Smooth' Debut Album "Street Fame"
Phoenix, Arozina, December 25, 2015 (Newswire.com) - The Independent recording artist Jaesin "Az Smooth" Stone has announced the release of his highly anticipated debut album, “Street Fame” arriving everywhere on Spring 2016, exclusively through azsmooth.bandcamp.com. Pre-orders available on 1/1/2016. Releasing on all DSP's March 15th. “Street Fame” is heralded by the single, "Jazzy With It,” which will premier on Spotify in the fall. And is out now in a DSP's as a single. “Street Fame” – which follows last year’s epic “Independent Hustle” EP – sees Az Smooth showing love to the D.M.V while also paying homage to his Desert State with a South West hip-hop soundtrack like none before. In hopes keep it all in house, the now South West-based MC reached out to a number of his fellow Arizonians and D.M.V artist and producers to complete this project. Including Arizona producer Thaddous Shade (of Go Mode Music), with whom he previously collaborated with on 2012's "The Evils" and 2015's "Independent Hustle." He dropped "Independent Hustle" in 2014 with the new label, featuring production by Thaddeous Shade and Kruush. Rapper / producer Jaesin “Az Smooth” Stone was born in Tacoma Park, MD right outside of Washington, D.C. Raised in New Carlton M.D, P.G County the suburbs D.C. before moving to Silver Spring, MD. As a teen he was sent to Phoenix, Arizona to attend school in hopes to get him away from negative influences. Spending the summer back in D.C he picks up the name Az Smooth. He got his start in a group “Evil Blend” with family members Dirty D and Young Real. After dropping a mixtape “Evil Blend” and several performances they had to go different ways, still remaining great friends. Az Smooth and Young Real hooked up to release an EP “Emotionally Scarred” talking about life in their environment. This EP was the catalysts for Az Smooth and Young Real creating a large buzz. After selling 700 copies hand to hand. building off “Emotionally Scarred" they connected with Reggae/Dance Hall artist K-9 and producer Skep to release a Rap/Reggae infused mixtape “Hart Beat” that was a smash, selling 1500 out of the trunk. In 2007 Az relocated back to Phoenix, AZ were he got to work on his first solo mixtape “Stone602” receiving 25,000+ downloads, 5,000+ plays and gain bronze on datpiff. In 2011 Az released his first digital EP “The Evils” followed by "Tale of 2 City’s" in 2012 featuring NY artist Blazenem.
