Unique Two Step Coaching Assessment Builds Engagement

Unique assessment strategy brings manager and employee together for greater engagement and talent development.

Progress Coaching has announced a unique two-step coaching assessment strategy. The Dual Coaching Assessment uses a two-step strategy to better understand manager expectations as well as the goals of the employee. Both sets of results are combined into a customize coaching strategy by speaking directly to what both parties want.

"We have tried to come up with a unique assessment strategy that is unique to bringing the manager and employee together in a way that builds cooperation in a solid foundation for coaching. The industry is filled with personality assessments that often can be complicated or require the manager to interpret the data and not know how to apply to coach to the results," states Tim Hagen, founder of Progress Coaching and creator of the Dual Coaching Assessment.

This two-step approach uses the goals of the employee in a very unique fashion along with the manager's evaluation and observation of the employee's strengths and areas of opportunity to improve. The results of both assessments are combined and then converted into a customized coaching strategy with specific approaches using questions, activities, learning projects, and various coaching strategies unique to both parties and the results of the assessments.
