Universal Software Solutions Enhances Its Powerful Billing Software
Advanced Collections and Denials Module Now Available for HDMS Users
Davison, MI 48423, June 20, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Universal Software Solutions, Inc. (USSI), a leading provider of practice management solutions for the home healthcare and medical equipment markets, has enhanced its Healthcare Data Management Software (HDMS) with a powerful Collections & Denials Module. This new software development represents a streamlined and time-saving approach for home medical equipment (HME) billers to work accounts receivables and denied claims.
HME billers no longer need to run paper reports and manually search for their most important claims and denials when using the HDMS Collections and Denials Management Module. Instead, this automated software generates prioritized work lists that are sorted by their criteria and presents these crucial billing tasks in an electronic grid for easy retrieval.
"This Module enables HME billers to be far more efficient and focused on their high value billing claims and denials. It also allows for a shared cooperative work space between billing staff and managers."
Christopher Dobiesz, President
“The Collections and Denials Module creates a methodical, paperless billing queue for medical billers that is both collaborative and auto-renewing every day,” according to Christopher Dobiesz, President of Universal Software Solutions. “This module enables HME billers to be far more efficient and focused on their high value billing claims and denials. It also allows for a shared cooperative work space between billing staff and managers,” says Dobiesz.
The early response from the HME Marketplace has been very favorable for the Collections and Denials Module. “We are getting really good results with the HDMS Collections and Denials Module,” says Becky Ostrowski, Billing Manager at Home Care Delivered in Richmond, Virginia. “This product has helped us tremendously. I looked at other products and none of those came close to having a single work queue that the Collections & Denials Module gives us. This Module is enabling my billing staff to get paid on more claims in less time than before we were using it,” says Ostrowski.
The Module has been in full release since April of 2017 and is expected to be in wide use by HDMS users by the end of the year, according to Dobiesz.
