Online, May 23, 2010 (Newswire.com) - On April 24 2010 Author Belinda Collins released her new romance novel Roommates on Lulu.com the online market place for self publishing authors.

Mrs. Collins took time off after sixteen years in the retail industry to write her 275 page novel.

By dividing her time between a teenager and new husband, Mrs. Collins took a few hours everyday to write the book she was told she could never write.

Mrs.Collins say's: "I was told I couldn't write this book. At first I set out to prove that person wrong. But with the support of my new husband and daughter I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it, and with the help of lulu I am now a published author."

Although the book is called "Roommates" it is a romance, mystery about a single woman trying to make it on her own after finding her fiance cheating on her just before they were to be married.
