Upcoming REDC Foreclosure Auction Boasts Potential Sports Fan Dream Come True in IL, IN, and MO

650+ New Foreclosures Available in Four-City Auction Series; Many Near Major Sports Venues in Chicago, Indianapolis, St Louis, and Kansas City; Auction Series Begins Saturday in Chicago

Irvine, Calif. - REDC has been making homeowner dreams come true all across the nation during the foreclosure crisis, and with its newest foreclosure auction series in Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City, REDC now finds itself in a position of converting a different kind of dream into reality. The four-day auction campaign includes bank-owned properties close to major sporting venues -- a dream realized for the true American sports lover.

The auction event kicks off at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL on Saturday August 21 at 9:30 a.m. From there, the auction will continue Sunday August 22 at the Indianapolis Marriot Downtown at 9:30 a.m. and Monday August 23 at the Millenium Hotel St Louis at 6:30 p.m., before coming to an end Tuesday August 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kansas City Convention Center. An online auction will be also take place beginning Saturday August 21 that will feature properties in Ohio and Kentucky.

Media is welcome. Media may shoot video/photos of any property and interview any bidders.

REDC has auctioned 985 foreclosures in IL, IN, MO, and OH over 12 auction campaigns this year for over $67 million.

"These auctions provide a great opportunity for first-time homebuyers, investors and general homebuyers who may be looking to move into bigger properties and pay lower mortgages," says REDC CEO Jeff Frieden. "Homebuyers and investors will be bidding on and buying these foreclosures for as much as 50-60% less than their previous high value. The sellers of these bank-owned houses are highly motivated to turn these non-performing assets into performing assets, which gives bidders a great advantage. When you combine motivated sellers, lower housing prices and the lowest interest rates in 50 years, it has created the 'perfect storm' for buying a property."

The auctions will help fuel the local economies.

"When a house sits vacant, no one is paying a mortgage, property taxes, nor gas, electric and water bills -- all of which hurts the local and national economy," Frieden says. "But when REDC turns a foreclosure back into a home, a new family is paying a mortgage, property taxes, gas, electric and water bills, and they're creating jobs by hiring landscapers, painters and electricians - all of which fuels the economy."
