UPES Is Organizing International Conference On English Communication

Online, July 23, 2012 (Newswire.com) - University of petroleum and energy studies is going to organize 2nd International Conference on 5th & 6th October 2012 on the theme Methods, Aesthetics & Genres in English Communication, MAG/I/C 2012 offered by Centre for Professional Communication. The university is known for offering graduation, post graduation, Mphil And PhD level courses.

Head, Centre for Professional Communication, UPES shares, "We are organizing this event based on various aspects of English communication and its varied genres. The main aim is to discuss, unfold the diverse methods used in the teaching and learning process of English literature &
language. We believe in imparting human values through the English Language and also related
ethics & values. Our aim is to propagate English and manifest it among students at a larger magnitude. With the conference, we aim to enlighten our students. In addition, we are inviting research papers on the themes and sub-themes based on English communication. We wish all the best to our students for the research and the conference meet."

Some of the sub themes for the research topics include technology in teaching: phobia & mania ,
language in media: communication Vs miscommunication , language in literature: text & context and much more. Students who are sending their research should send abstracts of approximately about 300 words electronically (as attachment in MS-Word) by 31, July, 2012, to [email protected]. The participants can get registered by paying a registration fee Rs. 2000 to be submitted through demand draft (without accommodation) or Cash latest by 15, September, 2012.
