Upgraded and advanced, RegCure Registry Cleaner 2.0 is compatible with Windows 7

RegCure 2.0, the latest version of the popular PC utility software, along with programming revisions and improvements, has been upgraded to be compatible with Windows 7.

RegCure, the landmark registry cleaner created by ParetoLogic, is now available for all users of the Windows® 7 operating system. RegCure has been tested to meet all the technical requirements to be compatible with Windows 7, and can be used on both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. This marks an important technological advancement, as the 64-bit registry is markedly different from 32-bit.

Norman Eldridge, ParetoLogic's Technical Product Manager, explained that "RegCure underwent significant changes to ensure that it optimizes Windows 7 32- and 64-bit systems in a safe and effective way." RegCure offers users the ability to clean the Windows registry of corruptions, invalid entries and cluttered remnants from uninstalls and malware infections. These problems all lead to an overgrown and unstable registry, which often is the cause of error messages, slow performance and a range of PC difficulties. By quickly and easily cleaning the registry, RegCure stops error messages and slow speed caused by registry problems.

The 64-bit registry is an integral part of the Windows 7 64-bit operating system, which also includes 32-bit portions. Essentially, when a 32-bit program is run, the 32-bit registry is used; when a 64-bit program is run, the 64-bit registry is utilized. As a result, RegCure must scan a far greater number of files when cleaning a system, while maintaining the speed and ease-of-operation that users expect.

With the new version, RegCure will continue to maintain support for Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP and Vista, as older computers tend to be particularly prone to errors and slowdowns. However, Mr. Eldridge explained, "registry cleaning isn't just for old or error-ridden computers. Cleaning the registry is a key part of PC maintenance and optimization." The Technical Product Manager encouraged Windows 7 users to "scan with RegCure after uninstalling software, after every few weeks of regular use and when the system generally seems slow." He also pointed out that RegCure includes a Manage Startup function, which allows users to fine-tune the items that launch at startup, for a quick performance boost.
