Upstate South Carolina Roofing Company Expands to Phoenix, AZ
Online, March 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Allcon Roofing, Inc., which saw record growth during the recessionary year of 2010, has expanded to the mid-west by opening a satellite operation in Phoenix, AZ. With two installation crews and a sales manager on site, the Phoenix staff shares office space with Pestrivas Construction, a highly regarded Arizona contractor.
"We decided to partner to establish our presence there more quickly," said Craig Perfect, President of Allcon Roofing. "Pestrivas needed a roofing division with expertise in roof replacement, which we have, and we wanted to expand in that area of the country. It was a great fit."
Phoenix experienced significant storms last year, as did South Carolina's upstate region. Storm damage is a leading catalyst for roof replacement, followed by age deterioration and esthetic desires.
Sales at privately held Allcon Roofing grew almost 350% in fiscal year 2010, with the majority of that new business coming from roof replacements. Mr Perfect predicts another record setting year in 2011, due to last year's harsh weather across the south.
"I admit, hailstorms are bad for roofs, and good for roofers," stated Mr. Perfect. "But we've had tremendous success because we work closely with the home owner's insurance company to ensure strict compliance with all rules and regulations. Our quality control procedures are second to none, and that makes the whole process easier for everyone involved."
Company officials currently are looking at nearby Columbia, SC, and possibly Charlotte, NC as well, for expansion operations. "Last year's success positioned us well for continued growth this year," added Mr. Perfect.
