Urban Country Announces "Step Up and Save"

Urban Country has announced today its shoe- donation campaign, "Step up and Save" from 16th April, 2016 - 24th April, 2016.

This Earth Day, the campaign focuses on donating your old shoes with a 15% off (other than prevailing offers) on each pair of shoes.

The campaign aims to help the non- profit organization, Niveda foundation.

Urban Country is a descendant of the USD 20 Million Suri Group. It has been catering to United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, France, Sweden, America, Israel, Australia and New Zealand. Urban Country has tried to unite style and solace for the Indian working professionals- the entrepreneurs, administrators or chiefs. It tries to provide a complete solution to your feet. It has conveyed the globally acclaimed brand to India, the TredFlex. A rage in Europe and South East Asia, it has a mix of solace and air technologies to reclassify throughout the day comfort shoes.

“To give away something is an easy matter in any man’s power. But to decide whom to give, how to give, when to give and for what purpose and how, is neither in any man’s power”, said Zubair Alam, Co- founder, Peoplebridge.

As Urban Country, endeavors to bring clear and perfect vision to people across the globe finalized a partnership with Niveda foundation, a non-profit organization. People from around the country would enjoy the benefits of 15% off on each pair. The program would fulfill the vision of empowering children and adults in the country by offering them, their families, and their communities a hope for a better quality of life. “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. He who wishes good for others, has already secured a good place. Every good act is a charity. A man's true wealth is the good that he does in this world to his fellows”, said Rashin Suri, Chief Operating Officer, Urban Country.

This is the first step towards establishing a comprehensive program adding, “the work of volunteers impacts on all our lives, even if we are not aware of it. The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problems”, said Ms Sindhu Ravi, Founder Head, Niveda Foundation.

This initiative needs to be undertaken, as extreme poverty is a pressing issue of our age. It is the major source of the world’s suffering, where people have to struggle for survival.
