US Cellular LG Genesis Review

Online, July 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The LG Genesis is an updated version of the LG enV Touch. This time, LG decided to release this phone to US Cellular. The Genesis still has two screens; this time, however, both screens are capacitive touch screens. The screens are extremely responsive to the touch and look fantastic. They have 480x800 pixel resolution and support 16 million colors, so colors look great, graphics look lifelike and text is crisp. The outside screen is 3.5 inches and the inside screen is 3.2 inches. They mirror each other, only the outside screen is portrait and the inside is landscape. The screen opens up to an angle or can be laid flat.

The Genesis also has Android 2.2, so it's on the smartphone lineup instead of the feature phone category. LG knew they had designed a fantastic, roomy keyboard with the enV Touch, so they kept that same 5-row QWERTY keyboard. With 5 rows, LG was able to add plenty of shortcut keys, for example a .com key, text message key and a browser key. If you prefer the digital keyboard for shorter messages, the phone also has a SWYPE keyboard and the standard Android keyboard. Pictures taken with the 5-megapixel camera with dual LED look fantastic and you can upload the pictures and videos to your Facebook or Twitter accounts with ease.
