US Veterans Affairs Evaluating Palarum's 'Staff Safety Alert and Locator' SmartBadge

Palarum, LLC and The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced that they have entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) to evaluate and deploy Palarum's innovative SmartBadge Alert Management technology designed to enhance staff safety within their hospital facilities. This project, led by VA's National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation (NCCHI), is part of their mission to provide the best and most advanced healthcare possible for Veterans and the healthcare staff who serve them. VA Palo Alto Health Care System will be the first to pilot the solution.  

The Palarum Staff Safety SmartBadge System uses leading-edge communication and location detection technologies that allow hospital staff to instantly notify other colleagues that they need assistance and their exact location.
