This year’s 9th Annual USAC/MD Charity Golf Classic raised an amazing $13,200 for The International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum's Survivor Fund thanks to the generosity of sponsors, players and others in attendance.

United States Auto Club, Motoring Division, Inc. hosted its 9th Annual USAC/MD Charity Golf Classic on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, FL.  The event was in conjunction with the PWOF Tow Show in Orlando, Florida.

The event drew well over one hundred players and a large list of sponsors and other participants.  The day was perfect for a four person scramble and the teams had a blast playing and winning prizes as well as bragging rights all while raising money for the International Towing & Recovery Museum’s Survivor Fund.

“USAC/MD is proud of the generosity of the golfers and sponsors, who over the years have faithfully supported the Survivor Fund”, says Matthew Miller, USAC/MD Golf Classic Chair.  “This year helped us reach just over $100,000 in donations to the Survivor Fund.  We are so thankful to everyone for making the Golf Classic such a successful event.”

The tournament ended with an awards ceremony, raffle drawings and a $13,200.00 donation to the Survivor Fund.

"We remain committed to making the roads safer for our service provider network through training, education and certification programs throughout the industry.  We are strongly committed to this cause and will continue to sponsor this tournament each year. We appreciate the continued support from all our industry friends," said Staley Cash, President of USAC/MD, who presented the check to Jeffrey Godwin, the current chairman of the Survivor Fund and President at FTI Groups.
