Usher Fan Donnetia Rabb Issues Formal Apology For Kicking Star in The Face at NYC OMG Concert

Online, December 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - NEW YORK, NY - New Jersey resident, devoted wife, and mother Donnetia Rabb issued a formal apology today to both Usher Raymond and his fans. The apology comes on the heels of the December 13th OMG concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC, where during a once in a lifetime moment, Rabb accidentally kicked the OMG star in the face. Videos that ripped across news channels and World Wide Web gossip sites shows the young woman brought on stage as Usher Raymond serenades her to a sexy version of his popular song "Trading Places" on a leather couch. Donnetia, not one to shy away from good clean fun, joined in on the show. As she attempted to swing her leg over Usher's head she inadvertently kicked him in his face.

"I am a huge fan of Usher's work and have been for years," states Donnetia Rabb. "Anyone who knows me knows that I have a bright, bubbly, vivacious personality so I wanted to interact and enjoy the moment. I never intended to kick him in the face, much less draw attention to such a mishap during the evening of an amazing performance."

Usher, in good taste, made light of the situation on stage by jokingly stating, "We play rough in bed; we kick each other in the face and all kinds of good stuff." The star then escorted Donnetia off the stage like a true gentleman and continued his show in a professional manner.

Donnetia, who has been receiving a flood of calls surrounding the incident, has refused to comment until now but felt that it was timely and much needed as the responses and questions have been quite overwhelming. She even received numerous offers from people to purchase the shoe that dared to tap the face of Usher Raymond. Donnetia is hoping to publicly present Usher with an apology gift that she purchased with the intent of sending to him the day after the incident. She would love to present him with the gift prior to the next leg of his OMG tour.
