UST GLOBAL Ranked as "STRONG" Offshore Challenger by Global Independent Analyst Firm

UST Global's future prospects in Europe and the UK receive highest ranking.

UST Global, a leading provider of IT services and solutions for Global 1000 enterprises, today announced that it received the highest ranking of "Strong" in the 2011 Buyers Guide released by HfS Research, the leading analyst advisory firm covering global outsourcing and shared services strategies. In the guide's report entitled "The 2011 Offshore Challengers", HfS Research took a close look at UST's strengths and awarded the ranking after determining the company's future prospects in the European & UK markets.

The report focused on several fast-growing firms that continue to compete with and win major contracts from their larger competitors. In it, HfS Research noted UST's focus on "fewer CLIENTS, more ATTENTION" and the company's ability "to meet and exceed service delivery targets and client expectations." Among several key reasons cited why UST merited the highest ranking are its management depth under CEO Sajan Pillai and the fact that "with more than 15 ex-SVP and CIOs and a host of experienced managers, UST has significant experience across its market verticals and horizontals." Moreover, according to HfS Research, "to further increase its value propositions, UST is willing to make resource investments with potential buyers in order to develop the relationship and anchor its services."

According to the report, UST serves world-class customers in such vertical market segments as healthcare, retail, financial services and manufacturing, among others.
Among UST's largest horizontal markets are Application Development and Maintenance, including both modern systems and mainframe, as well as legacy modernization; Creative Design & Mobility solutions, from strategic consulting, analysis and design to development and production; and QA and Testing services, including independent validation and verification services that meet customers' specific needs.

"We are gratified that HfS Research recognized the value of our dedication to building long-term, loyal relationships with our clients," said Pillai. "Our customers reap the benefits of our willingness to invest in those relationships as well as our focus on continuous innovation and improvement. Helping our customers grow their businesses and increase market share is good for those customers, good for UST and good for the global economy."
