Online, June 22, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Building on the success that they've had with design professionals and serious collectors, VandM.com, one of the leading online marketplaces for vintage furniture, antique, art and jewelry, have announced that they have recently launched their first television commercial, and the first television commercial in their category.
"VandM.com has more than doubled in monthly visitors since this time last year, so we knew that our fan base has grown beyond just interior designers," said Talis Lin, Director of Marketing, VandM.com. "So we wanted to keep this momentum going by letting everyone know the secret of where professionals have been finding their great pieces, and national television was the perfect way to communicate that."
Created completely in-house, the ad is a look at a few of the 20,000 furniture, art, and jewelry items that VandM.com is known for within the interior design and collector communities, but might not have been seen by the general public.
Some of the items featured are a vintage four carat diamond ring for $18,500, an industrial American credenza made from vintage machine parts for $4,200, a 1960s black and white wingback chair listed at $1,600, and a 81-piece vintage Czech crystal chandelier for $1,500.
The commercial is airing online as well as on cable television, including Antiques Roadshow, American Pickers, E! Entertainment, BBC America, Ovation TV, DIY Network, and HGTV.
