Most of Longueville's works are impeccably rendered large scale oil paintings on canvas. Her meticulous dissection of images, where her technics practices are terribly well controlled - each painting takes two to four months to be completed - is offering us different cycles and collections.
Longueville's work has become recognized for the distinctive images wherein she mixes and distorts original images to create new ones, for example taking recognizable objects and symbols, moved into an "image-landscape", building an emotive presence, so that she explores and question our relationship to art, the cultural bridge and the new articulation between past and future.
