Varanasi Reaches Final Leg Of RJ-Giri

Online, January 27, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The RJ-hunt that promised to find the new voice of Varanasi and which saw over 4000 entries pouring into the station has finally found its final four contestants.

The four contestants who had to cross many hurdles and a series of challenging rounds before reaching the finale will now compete with each other based on the audience votes. The contestants are already ON-Air and are showcasing their talent to gather maximum votes from the audience.

The RJ hunt is not only turning out to be an innovative platform for the budding talent but its also created a wave across the city with the listeners eagerly waiting to hear the final results. "RJ-Giri has been an amazing experience and we are all geared up for the grand finale, that has some awesome surprises!" shared Subhashis Roy, National Sales Head, Radio Mantra.

The final task involves assisting Mantra Radio Jockeys as their co -host everyday for one hour. "I always wanted to become a Radio Jockey , but did not have any professional qualification; RJ-Giri is a ticket to turning my dreams to reality ", shared one of the finalists, Charu.

The winner will not only get a chance to extensively train and work with Radio Mantra, but will also take home twenty five thousand Rupees. The rest of the participants too shall be gratified with certificates , mobile phones, gift hampers and some other exciting prizes.
